Film Preservation and Restoration School India

For the first time ever in India, the Film Heritage Foundation in collaboration with Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation, Cineteca di Bologna and L’Immagine Ritrovata will host a week-long school from February 22 – 28, 2015 at Films Division, Mumbai.

The programme’s goal is to address the current issues related to film preservation and restoration while providing participants with practical training of current restoration and archival practices.

The week-long school will include lectures, screenings and practical hands-on training conducted by the staff of the Film Foundation, Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna, L’Immagine Ritrovata and leading international experts and filmmakers.
