SEAPAVAA Congratulates Adrian Wood, AMIA’s The Alan Stark Awardee (2019)

The Alan Stark Award honors individuals who have made a significant contribution through their efforts on a special project or in project management that contributes to, and supports, the work of moving image archives and/or the operations of the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA).

SEAPAVAA would like to congratulate Adrian Wood for receiving the Alan Stark Award (2019) from AMIA  for his significant contribution to recover and restore the lost Olympic films.

Adrian Wood is a lifetime member of SEAPAVAA. He served the Executive Council as a  member (2008 – 2011; 2011 – 2014) and as treasurer (2014 – 2017). He was bestowed a  SEAPAVAA Fellow during the association’s 23rd Conference in June 2019,  Noumea, New Caledonia.
