SEAPAVAA Congratulates Reto Kromer, recipient of JTS Award 2019

The JTS Awards honor individuals, organizations or projects, recognizing significant achievements and contributions to the technology of the audiovisual archiving field.

SEAPAVAA would like to congratulate Reto Kromer for receiving the inaugural JTS award (2019) for his extraordinary contributions to this field.

Reto Kromer is the director of AV Preservation by reto.ch, a SEAPAVAA associate institutional member from 2007 – 2018. His institution supported SEAPAVAA’s first Best Archival Project in the Region Award (2019) which was presented to the Save Myanmar Film during the association’s 23rd Conference in June 2019,  Noumea, New Caledonia.
