Dear SEAPAVAA member,

Every two years UNESCO holds an international conference for Non Government Organisations (NGO’s) that have entered into a relationship with UNESCO. SEAPAVAA has such a relationship as a Consultative Partnership as do several other international audiovisual archiving bodies. 2014 marks a conference year and in conjunction with the conference is an election for the NGO Liaison Committee, you may read more about this on the UNESCO website: http://www.ngo-unesco.net/en/.

If anyone would like to nominate for election to the committee please contact Loren at: lorenbustos.seapavaa@gmail.com and she can forward you the appropriate forms (these may also be downloaded from the UNESCO NGO site).

*Please note that SEAPAVAA cannot support any costs incurred by election to the committee.*
