SEAPAVAA is deeply saddened to learn on 31 July 2023 about the passing of Dhani Sugiharto. His funeral service was held in his hometown at Rembang (Central Java) on 3 July 2023.

Dhani Sugiharto was a member of the Executive Council (2008 – 2011) and an active SEAPAVAA member, representing ANRI (National Archive of the Republic of Indonesia) since 2003. He was the head of the Archives Storage Department at ANRI. He continued to support SEAPAVAA activities, attending and presenting at the 27th SEAPAVAA Conference in May 2023 in Thailand.

We extend our deepest condolences to Dhani’s family, colleagues and to all who knew him. He will be missed and always remembered.
